 The Diaconate Ministry is dedicated to nurturing and strengthening individuals and families through the Word of God. The deacons are chosen by the church and appointed by the Pastor to oversee the business of the church and provide spiritual care to the congregation. 

The Deaconess Ministry is dedicated to supporting the vision of the Pastor and Deacons while edifying the Kingdom of God. Being spiritual women empowered with God’s Holy Spirit: we provide support, assistance, and care to the congregation and community; being knowledgeable of His word to effectively serve the church

The Ushers Ministry plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and orderly environment for worship services and events. Ushers are responsible for greeting attendees, assisting with seating, and providing any necessary support during services.

The Trustee Ministry takes care of the church’s property, finances, and physical needs. They help manage the building, handle budgets and repairs, and make sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Their goal is to protect and maintain the church’s resources so ministry can thrive.

The Men’s Ministry is dedicated to fostering spiritual growth, fellowship, and service among the men of the congregation. This ministry offers various activities and programs, including and community service projects, aimed at strengthening the faith and camaraderie of its members.

The Women’s Ministry is dedicated to empowering and equipping women to grow their faith and serve the community. This ministry offers various programs and activities, including Bible studies, prayer groups, and fellowship events, and designed to support women in their spiritual journey.

The Youth Ministry aims to engage young people in their faith journey. This includes various activities such as community service projects and social events designed to foster spiritual growth and fellowship.

The Inspirational Choir of Union Baptist Church is known for their uplifting and inspiring performances during Sunday services and special events. The choir plays a significant role in the church’s worship experience, bringing the community together through music.

Union Baptist Church offers Sunday School at 9:00 a.m. every Sunday, right before the worship service.  It’s a great opportunity for individuals of all ages to learn more about their faith and connect with others in the community.

The Hospitality Ministry is dedicated to creating a warm and welcoming environment for all church members and visitors. This committee is responsible for organizing and coordinating hospitality-related tasks for various church functions, including fellowship events, and special services.

The Kitchen Ministry plays a crucial role in supporting church events and activities by preparing and serving meals. This committee is responsible for organizing and coordinating food-related tasks for various church functions, including fellowship meals and special events.

The Transportation Committee is dedicated to ensuring that all members of the congregation have access to transportation for church services and events. We coordinate rides for those who may need assistance getting to and from the church, helping to ensure that everyone can participate in the church community.

The Media Ministry helps the church share its message using technology and creative tools. They run sound and video during services, create flyers and social media posts, and make sure people can join worship in person or online. 

The Pastor’s Aid Ministry supports the pastor and their family. They assist with special events, provide encouragement, and help meet personal or ministry needs. They uplift the pastor so they can serve the church with strength and joy.

The Health Ministry promotes wellness in the church and community. It shares helpful health tips, organizes screenings and fitness events, and supports people in making healthy choices. Its goal is to care for the body, mind, and spirit.
